About

What We Stand For

Our focus is people – they are the centre of who we are as a political party.

We believe that quality and accessible health care and education for every Saskatchewan resident is paramount.

We believe everyone deserves the public services and supports necessary to have a good quality of life and to be able to enjoy the wonderful province we call home.

We believe every person deserves respect and acceptance for who they are.

We believe we all have a duty to be responsible caretakers of our lands, waters, and air to be able to enjoy and preserve what we have now and for future generations.

We stand for responsible, responsive, and respectful elected and non-elected officials who represent and serve the people of Saskatchewan.

We stand for fiscal accountability, transparency, and integrity in the use and allocation of public funds.

We believe that everyone and every entity must contribute fairly and equitably to ensure prosperity and quality of life for all Saskatchewan residents.

The Saskatchewan Progress Party does not accept corporate, union, association, or out-of-province donations.

Our Principles

As the Saskatchewan Progress Party continues its evolution, work is ongoing in developing policies and a re-envisioning of party principles and values. Members will be consulted over the next few months for input on moving the party forward. A convention is being planned for 2024.

Party Governance

The Saskatchewan Progress Party is governed according to our constitution, along with other documents that help shape internal policies and procedures. Operations are overseen by our Provincial Executive, which is elected by the membership of the party. Party membership is open to anyone at least 14 years of age who subscribes to the principles, aims and objectives of the party, is a Canadian citizen or landed immigrant, a resident of Saskatchewan, and is not a member of any other provincial political party. We welcome those from all walks of life in a spirit of respect and inclusion towards our common political goals.

Our Commitment to Reconciliation

The Saskatchewan Progress Party acknowledges and honours Saskatchewan treaty areas 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 and 10. We are committed to moving forward in economic, financial and social partnerships with First Nations and the Métis people of Saskatchewan, in the spirit of truth, reconciliation and collaboration.
