The Saskatchewan Liberal Party is now the Saskatchewan Progress Party. Along with a new name and brand, Sask Progress is a viable alternative to the two historical parties in Saskatchewan.
The Sask Progress Party will work to make a better life for all. The SPP believes government exists to serve the citizens of Saskatchewan and is accountable to the people. Our new look emphasizes this.
“The swirl symbolizes the force that brings people together to unite the province beyond divisive politics,” remarked party leader Jeff Walters. “We want to build a bright future that sees all people of Saskatchewan working together to make our province a place to call home.”
In the coming weeks and months, Sask Progress will meet with residents across the province to listen to their concerns. A policy convention will be held in October to review and build on our current policies. Our policies will be based on input from all of Saskatchewan and will make a better life for all.
The name change and new identity is the first step. “It’s time,” says Walters. “If we aim to modernize and bring the province into the future, we must be willing to do the same.”
